BACK TO SCHOOL DRIVE
On Monday 8/7 the CAI CARES! Committee helped to organized close to 3000 backpacks to be sent out to needy schools throughout the 9 bay area counties
On Friday June 23rd the CAI CARES! Committee teamed up with Habitat for Humanity to build two playhouses that would go to two military families through Blue Star Moms. One day, two great nonprofit organizations!! The committee wants to thank everyone who donated money or bought keys at the Ladies Tea Event, as they were able to raise the $4000 necessary to build the playhouses. The committee plans on doing a similar event in 2018.

WHAT’S UP WITH THE UNDIES?!
We’re raising money to cure a nasty genetic disorder! Cupid’s Undie Run is a 4 hour party with a mile(ish) fun run in the middle. No, we’re not crazy, we’re just crazy serious about raising money for the Children’s Tumor Foundation.
Our team will be running in underwear/ leggings and boxers, or whatever we are comfortable in.
BIG party. “Brief” run. Raising millions!
In June The CAI Cares committee Participated in the Summer of Caring. They held a backpack and school supplies drive at each luncheon from now until August. These supplies will then be presented to local schools and organizations in need.
In April the CAI Cares Committee has decided they were rolling our sleeves up with a Blood Drive on April 15th at the Pleasanton American Red Cross Donation Center.
We work together every day to do important work. But today, we want to accomplish something even more meaningful. The Red Cross has to collect 15,000 blood donations every day to have enough blood to help patients in 2,700 hospitals and transfusion centers across the country. That’s a lot of patients in need and all of us, coming together, can help ensure patients receive life saving blood.
CAI CARES! Committee member Mandi Newton dropped off two huge carts of stuffed animals, books, blankets and lovey’s to Shelter INC. Thank you to all the guests from the November 2016 East Bay Educational luncheon that make this such a huge success!!
