Please see the full description of Award Categories and criteria needed below. All nominees must be current members of the CAI BayCen Chapter.Â
On-Site Manager of the Year – In addition to volunteerism within our Chapter, the recipient demonstrates a daily commitment to their client, ensuring, under their stewardship, the community maintains exceptional standards, both within the community, and administratively.Â
Portfolio Manager of the Year -Â In addition to volunteerism within our Chapter, the recipient provides balanced service to a varying array of Association clients, striving to balance the individual needs of each Association in a manner which provides equitable commitment to the administrative, and community needs of each of their portfolio clients.Â
Rising Star Manager – The recipient is new in the management role, (defined as less than 5-years) and although new in the role demonstrates an enthusiasm, not only to grow within the role as a community manager, but also grow as a member of the chapter. The recipient has, not only dedicated their time to growing in their role as manager, but has dedicated their time volunteering during Chapter events.  Â
Rising Star Business Partner– The recipient is new to the business partner role, (defined as less than 5-years) and although new in the role demonstrates an enthusiasm not only to grow within the role, but also grow as a member of the chapter. The recipient has not only dedicated their time to growing in their role as a business partner, but has dedicated their time volunteering during Chapter events.  Â
Business Partner (Company) of the Year – The recipient is one in which the culture of the company exemplifies the values of this Chapter. The Company proffers sustained and substantial support to CAI’s mission beyond mere financial support, regularly attends and actively enhances this Chapters ability to enhance the experience for each of its members. Â
Business Partner (representative) of the Year – The recipient provides sustained and consistent support to the Chapters mission through volunteerism, education, and administrative actions. Â
Presented Awards: Not open to voting, each award has it’s own set of rules.
Educational Presentation of the Year –  The recipient(s) is/are one who contributed to the education mission of the Chapter by proffering an educational opportunity, such as a luncheon presentation or seminar presentation. Recipient(s) is/are one that embodies the vision of educational excellence within the Chapter by demonstrating a supreme level of competency related to the topic, but also a superior level of sharing their knowledge with the Chapter. The nominees for this award will be selected based on scoring from attendee feedback surveys. The nominees will be reviewed by the Awards Committee, in conjunction with the Education Committee co-chairs.
Editor’s Choice Award – The recipient is selected by the Editors of The Communicator magazine to the person(s) who submitted the best article in the previous year’s issues.
Mentor Award – The recipient is selected by the incoming Board President. The person selected is a person that provided support to the incoming President. Â
President’s Award – Awarded by outgoing President to an individual who assisted in their year of leadership
Legacy Award – The recipient is selected by a committee of individuals and is awarded to an individual in the twilight of their career. The individual selected should have a long career associated with the Chapter providing a sustained positive impact. Once the award is provided, the recipient is no longer eligible for future awards. Â
 Executive Director (ED) Award –  The recipient is selected by the Executive Director (herein “ED”) to an individual, which the ED believes assisted in the betterment of the Chapter.Â
Award Categories: Winners will be selected through a combination of popular vote and committee scoring. Previous year's winners are ineligible in the same category they won. Please submit photos of nominees to [email protected].
